Meet the Counselor

Hello! My name is
Mrs. Wilkes (formerly Ms. Angstadt). I have an M.Ed. in School Counseling from UNC and a B.A. in Psychology from USC. My family and I are originally from New Jersey. However, I have spent half of my life in the Carolinas. I love both places and don't know which to call home! My husband Rob and I adore animals and have two pets of our own; a Bichon named Kloie and a cat named Holly. In my free time, I enjoy reading, art and design, as well as spending time outdoors with friends and family.

Counseling Program Overview
As Rashkis Elementary's School Counselor, I collaborate with parents/guardians and school staff to support students' academic, personal/social, and career development. My goal is to help every Rashkis Raptor reach their full potential by ensuring equitable access to opportunities,
removing barriers to success, and providing resources, information and instruction. If you would like to learn more about how I work with students, visit the Counseling Services page.

Please feel free to email, call, or stop by my office to share with me any of your questions or concerns. I would love to help in any way that I can!
